ANR (French National Research Agency)

ANR (French National Research Agency)

The ANR supports collaborative projects carried out by public research laboratories and firms (at least one laboratory and one firm) which would like to achieve common research results beneficial to both parties.

This scheme allows public laboratories to tackle new research questions or approach them in a different way and allows companies to access the best level of public research in order to improve their innovative capacities long term. This measure also reinforces the transfer of results and expertise from the public research to the economic world. For a period of 24 to 48 months and applicable to all scientific disciplines, the project can receive a subvention between EUR 200 000 and EUR 800 000; the finance rate of SMEs varying between 35% and 45% of eligible expenses for basic and industrial research and experimental development.
